MIKE Processing Toolkit

Getting Started

The MIKE Processing Toolkit is supplied as a portable executable. Simply download the *.zip file and unzip the toolkit to a convenient location. The folder contains the required dependencies. To launch the MIKE Processing Toolkit, simply double-click the “MIKE Processing Toolkit.exe”.

To process results, simply click the ‘Open’ button beside ‘Input A’ and navigate to the result file.  If processing difference, repeat for ‘Input B’. By default the results will be saved in the same folder as ‘Input A’. This can be changed in the output directory text box. The file names are also taken from ‘Input A’, appended with the result type (e.g. *_Max); this can be overwritten by changing the ‘Output Prefix’ text box. Once a result file is opened, the ‘files’ box will populate with a list of the outputs that have been specified.

If you would like further assistance, please contact us at tools@watermodelling.com.au or call us at +07 3252 7448.

Please note that the MIKE Processing Toolkit requires MIKE 2016 to be installed. The export of *.asc and *.tif are currently handled by the free and open source QGIS which can be downloaded here.

MIKE Processing Toolkit

Developed over many years of working with MIKE software, the MIKE Processing Toolkit is designed to speed up the processing of MIKE FLOOD results. The MIKE Processing Toolkit has been designed to extract maximums from MIKE FM *.dfsu result files as well as calculating differences of two sets of results. The toolkit allows users to export results back into *.dfsu format, as vector elements (*.shp) and as rasters (*.asc and *.tif). Additionally, the toolkit can export peak velocity vectors.
