World Suicide Prevention Day is about working together to help prevent suicide.

Did you know, that every 40 seconds, someone loses their life to suicide. Seems a lot, doesn’t it? Thing is, most people don’t want to die, they just want their pain to stop.

Let’s talk about it:

1. You don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener.

2. You don’t need to be a clinician, a GP, or a nurse to check-in with someone you are worried about.

3. Trust your instincts and access suicide prevention resources to assist you in having the discussion.
